These are just some of the people bringing FantasyCon to London in 2020.

Farah Mendlesohn is convention Chair and Access Liaison
Farah organises and runs events for a living, is a recipient of the BFS Karl Edward Wagner Award, a respected academic and was Chair of this year’s Eastercon (which she took over from the previous Chair 6 months before the convention), among other previous con-running experience.

Phil Dyson is Deputy Chair and Site/Venue Manager
Phil was Farah’s co-Chair for this year’s Eastercon. He’s also a professional project manager, and lives in London, so can be available for onsite meetings.

Lee Harris is Treasurer and Membership Secretary
Lee is a three-time Hugo-nominated editor, and the current Treasurer of the BFS. He was the Chair of FantasyCon in York in 2014 and Nottingham in 2015.

Kari Sperring is Head of Programming.
Kari has run green room and programme for many Eastercons and at least one Worldcon. She knows everyone. She is who people call on when they aren’t meeting the work schedule. She is also an academic historian and a talented fantasy writer. Her first novel, Living with Ghosts, was awarded the Sydney J. Bounds Award for Best Newcomer 2010 by the British Fantasy Society.

Helen Armfield – Social Media Head
Helen is the Chair of the BFS and she performed this role for this year’s EasterCon, admirably, and is delighted to do it for the BFS and FantasyCon.

Penny Reeve – Publisher Liaison
Penny is the former head of PR at Angry Robot and currently works in PR for Rebellion (Solaris/Abaddon).
